Welcome to the Leading Innovation 2013 Summer Boot Camp!

We are so excited to be here with you! Today, we will focus on how both your professional growth and student learning across Common Core/Essential Standards and the 4C's (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity) can best be supported with digital resources and tools. We will be breaking out into sessions that will help you support exactly the type of learning and teaching outcomes you want and how you might leverage certain digital resources in your classroom to achieve those aims. Finally, you will have ample opportunity to PLAY, explore, and/or develop rich and robust learner-centered, technology-enabled activities all while the DLC team will provide ongoing support and help.

Participants will:
  • understand how TPACK guides you to the best intersection of curricular standards, sound pedagogy choices, and digital tool selections (knowledge*);
  • connect to and learn from other educators (attitude*);
  • align digital concepts and tools to your content area (Common Core and/or Essential Standards) during digitally supported learning activities (behavior*);
  • reflect and apply new skills for select digital tools (skills*).
